Wedding Card!

We have SO many weddings this summer. I guess it’s just because of the age of my daughters and their friends. I love it.  So for this month’s swap I wanted to do a wedding card because I figure if I have a lot of weddings, my friends probably do too!

happy together card for swapSo this is the card I made.  I CASED it from another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator who made a similar card with a circle instead of the heart.  Gorgeous!  I wish I could remember where I found it. When I do, I’ll link to it here because she actually made this particular card from the scraps of another gorgeous card she made.

Thank you – whoever you are!

I love the white on white look.  The butterflies just added a splash of color and whimsy. If I was smart, I would have taken a picture of just the white – it looked really pretty that way too.  If I have time I’ll do that later!  You’ll be back, right?

I cut all the hearts from a piece of card stock that I can now use as another wedding card.  That’s coming later too.  How many times have I said “later” in this post.  Too many.  You’ll be back, right?

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!  All supplies from Stampin’ Up!

It’s a box… it’s a card … it’s …

Well it’s really such a bummer that it’s dark and dreary outside because this card:

is SO much prettier in person – and the colors actually match in real life … and it’s just so adorable and fun!

I had some scraps of my designers series paper so I thought I’d try one of these card in a box, box in a card things that I’ve been seeing all over the place.  Believe it or not, this is really easy (though pretty time consuming) to make and oh so very fun!

I can’t wait to make more!
